Ouagadougou: The population of the Sourou province, in the border region of Mali, the Boucle du Mouhoun, offered a surveillance drone to the army as part of the fight against terrorism.
‘We appreciate this gesture which was made this morning by granting a drone which will allow them to carry out surveillance. Thank you to the population for this gesture,’ said the Minister in charge of Defense, General Kassoum Coulibaly.
Minister Kassoum Coulibaly and his counterpart in charge of security, Emile Zerbo, were on tour last Saturday in the Boucle du Mouhoun region, national television (RTB) indicates.
In the province of Sourou, the ministerial delegation praised the commitment of the fighting forces which made it possible to achieve results in this part of the country. He invited them to continue in the same dynamic for the total territorial reconquest of the country.
