Ouagadougou: The new director general of the Public Interest Group national volunteer program in Burkina Faso (GIP-PNVB), Djourmité Nestor Noufé, pledged Tuesday in Ouagadougou to fulfill his function with ‘dedication and self-sacrifice’ and to remain open and receptive to valuable advice, convinced that it is through a synergy of actions that he will be able to accomplish his mission.
‘I can assure you that under your tutelage and with your enlightened support, I will fulfill this function with dedication and self-sacrifice,’ said Djourmité Nestor Noufé.
Mr. Noufé spoke Tuesday in Ouagadougou on the occasion of his installation as new director general of GIP-PNVB.
‘I realize the immensity of the burden that now falls to me. This is why I approach this responsibility with a lot of apprehension, given the scale of the challenges to be met,’ he said.
To do this, he is committed to giving the best of himself and following the guidelines of the national volunteering policy. ‘But, I admit with all humility tha
t alone, I will not succeed,’ he confided.
Also, he requested the support of the supervisory authorities, of all partners, and the constant support of his closest collaborators, in short, of the program staff, to be able to fulfill his mission. ‘I therefore extend my hand to everyone, and undertake to remain open and receptive to any valuable advice, because it is by acting in a synergy of actions that we will be able to succeed in the various missions entrusted to us’ , concluded Djourmité Nestor Noufé.
Holder of two professional master’s degrees, one in communication, development option (C4D), and the other in management of development projects and programs, as well as several certifications in strategic and operational management, in advocacy and social dialogue and fundraising fund, Djourmité Nestor Noufé has already held several positions of responsibility.
He was notably head of the written press and personnel administration office at the Ministry of Defense, head of the women’s rights and children’s
rights unit at the UN/MINUSMA, director of resource mobilization and partnership at the National Agency for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency (ANERE), and director of communication, popularization of information and awareness within the same institution.
His last position was that of director of communications and public relations at the Presidency of Faso.
Furthermore, Djourmité Nestor Noufé has more than 20 years of service in public and parapublic administration. He is also a temporary teacher at Aube Nouvelle University.
