Burkina: The National Volunteer Program salutes the dedication of one of its agents


Ouagadougou: The National Volunteer Program in Burkina (PNVB) on Monday praised the dedication, perseverance and commitment of one of its agents, in the person of volunteer Abdoul Aziz Lenkoné.

‘Abdoul Aziz Lenkoné embodies the very spirit of volunteerism. His perseverance and dedication are an inspiration to us all. He is living proof that every effort, no matter how small, can have a significant impact on our community,’ said Djourmité Nestor Noufé.

The Director General of the National Volunteer Program in Burkina (PNVB) spoke on Monday July 8, 2024 during a ceremony of congratulations and gratitude to Agent Lenkoné.

Mr. Noufé recognized in Abdoul Aziz Lenkoné an altruist and a model of commitment and determination ‘whose tireless commitment and passion for work arouses the respect of his peers’.

After receiving his letter of congratulations, Mr. Lenkoné expressed his gratitude to his superiors and his colleagues.

‘I am deeply touched by this recognition. (…) Every day, I come with the intention of doi
ng my best, not for the rewards, but because I firmly believe in the mission of the PNVB,’ he assured.

According to Djourmité Nestor Noufé, the recognition of Abdoul Aziz Lenkoné is not only a tribute to a dedicated person but also an inspiration for the entire National Volunteer Program.

As a reminder, National Volunteering is a full-time commitment, within the framework of which Burkinabè nationals or residents of Burkina Faso can devote a period of 6 to 36 months of their life to a mission of general interest approved by the PNVB.

Its areas of intervention cover education, health, the environment and the fight against desertification, economic development and decentralization
