Ouagadougou: In order to boost social dialogue in Burkina Faso, the government created on Wednesday a new public-private consultation framework (CC-PP), in place of the consultation framework and guidance for State/Private Sector Dialogue (CODESP).
According to the report of the Council of Ministers of this Wednesday 2024 chaired by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the new Public-Private Consultation Framework (CC-PP) replaces the Consultation and Orientation Framework for State/State Dialogue Private sector ( CODESP).
The CC-PP aims to establish a permanent dialogue between the public and private sectors in Burkina Faso.
The same document specifies that this new Framework includes three bodies: the Regional Public-Private Consultations (CR-PP), the Public-Private Sectoral Consultations (CS-PP) and the National Government/Private Sector Meeting (RGSP).
Established on October 15, 2018, the CODESP was a space for exchanges between the public administration and the private sector, in order to r
emove obstacles to the economic and social emergence of the country.
