The Burkinabe army received on Thursday a large batch of logistical equipment including, among others, backhoe loaders, compactors, backhoe loaders, graders, semi-trailers and tank transporters, acquired with its own funds, to strengthen the operational capacities of the Combat Forces on the ground.
It was the Minister in charge of Defense, Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly, who handed over the keys to this military engineering equipment to the Central Director of Army Equipment, Lieutenant-Colonel Abdoul Rahamané Semdé.
These machines will be used, among other things, for transport, road opening works, dam works, and unblocking of machines.
This handover is part of the ongoing national armed forces equipment plan.
