Ouagadougou: The Combatant Forces neutralized on July 25, 2024, in Kossi, 15 terrorists, including a cadre of the so-called Support Group for Islam and Muslims (GSIM), Sangaré Boukary alias Abou Fadima (43 years old), learned the AIB on Wednesday from security sources.
The FDS and VDP reacted quickly when GSIM terrorists attacked, on the evening of July 25, 2024, the village of Koury in the commune of Sono, province of Kossi.
The determination of the Fighting Forces made it possible to kill fifteen criminals, including one actively wanted, namely the terrorist leader Sangaré Boukary alias Abou Fadima, aged 43.
This former cattle dealer spent his time delivering fuel and communications credits to terrorists active in a neighboring country.
During 2018, he trained with the assassins before creating his base in the forest of Kinsèrè, commune of Barani, at the end of 2019.
Sangaré Boukary alias Abou Fadima coordinated several attacks against the FDS, the VDP and civilian populations.
He is also involved in
attacks in the town of Nouna, notably against the Territorial Gendarmerie Brigade of Djibasso, the GARSI of Barani and the village of Bourasso.
According to AIB sources, the neutralization of this murderer constitutes a huge loss for the terrorists active in the Boucle du Mouhoun, given his capacity for mobilization and nuisance.
Furthermore, the Combatant Forces, which remain engaged on all fronts in the territorial reconquest, assure the AIB interlocutors.
