Ouagadougou: 9 students supervised by the gendarmerie in Toéni (Sourou) prey to terrorist threats, all passed the Primary Studies Certificate (CEP) exam, the AIB learned.

The major of this promotion obtained 162 points, while the last obtained 100 points, writes the national gendarmerie of Burkina Faso on its Facebook page.

These 9 students from a primary school in Toéni have been supervised since October 16, 2023 by two elements of the Rapid Action and Intervention Groups (GARSI) of the National Gendarmerie based in Toéni (Sourou).

This decision was taken while waiting for a teacher to arrive.

As a reminder, the Toéni area has already suffered terrorist attacks, causing closures of basic social services and displacement of populations.

But thanks to the ongoing action of the gendarmes and other fighting forces, the situation is improving.
