The solemn rise of colors for the month of May scheduled for Monday morning at the town hall of Solenzo has been canceled due to rain, it was noted on site.

The directors and heads of provincial services met at the town hall of Solenzo following the call of the first official of the province, the High Commissioner of the Banwa for the first rise of the colors since the return of the public administration.

Indeed this Monday, May 8 morning around 7 a.m., those who were invited to the rise of colors all responded present.

Remember that since March 2022 there has been no more color upsurge in Solenzo due to insecurity.

But since the reconquest of the Banwa province by the FDS and the VDP, the administration has opened its doors and public service has resumed to the delight of the population.

This is how Monday, May 8 was chosen to honor the rise of the national colors, Monday, May 1 being a public holiday.

Teachers, managers and department heads as well as the FDS have set up for this civic act.

The High Commissioner arrived in a fine rain. The rain then increased, preventing the colors from rising.

According to the explanations of an element of the FDS, the national flag should only be raised in the morning and lowered in the evening in the rain. Appointment has therefore been given in another service for the climb next June.
