t even if I’m proud of my work, I still listen to positive or negative criticism to move forward and improve.

AIB: What lessons do you learn from this experience?

Opez FK: There is no such thing as music, you have to work a lot. So much so that when I’m with my friends, I’m always creating songs that I keep.

AIB: What are the next challenges or projects you are working on?

Opez FK: In this maxi I sang in three languages, Moore, French and Jula. My next challenge will be to explore other horizons. I plan to sing in other languages spoken in Burkina Faso and outside the country. I use English too.

AIB: Where was the album recorded?

Opez FK: To Niangoloko

AIB: Are there any interesting anecdotes related to the recording?

Opez FK: Yes (laughs). The day I was supposed to go to Niangoloko to record the album, I had health problems. Even though I only had 2 days to finish the recording. I had a cold that gave me the flu with a sore throat and I lost my voice. I had to take a lot of antibiotics to get my voic
e back. It was not easy for me and I suffered from it. And thank goodness I was able to complete the recording on time.
