Burkina/Fight against terrorism: A government team calls on FEME for greater commitment and resilience

A government delegation led by the Minister of State in charge of Communication, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, called on Thursday, during a visit, the Federation of Evangelical Churches and Missions (FEME) for greater commitment and resilience to meet the challenge of reconquering the national territory and asserting full sovereignty.

“Burkina Faso is in a difficult situation, but there is hope, because a decisive phase of our actions, of the challenge of reconquering our territory and our sovereignty will begin,” declared the Minister of State and Minister in charge of Communication, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo.

The government team led by Minister of State Ouédraogo, said it came to deliver the message of recognition and homage from the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, to the Federation of Evangelical Churches and Missions (FEME).

The Minister in charge of Communication who spoke on Friday in Ouagadougou, during a visit to the said Federation noted that this structure always preaches the m
essage of peace, fraternity and understanding between all daughters and sons regardless of ethnicity and beliefs in Burkina Faso.

Listening to him, the message of President Traoré’s message also remains one of commitment, resilience and above all total mobilization alongside the Combat Forces to meet the security challenge.

“We are leaving truly satisfied with our discussions with FEME, which reassured us of its prayers and commitment to ensuring that all Burkinabé can mobilize for a rapid victory over all our enemies inside and outside,” reported the head of the delegation.

The president of FEME, Pastor Henri Yé, specified that his organization prays a lot for the return of peace to the country.

“We ask for God’s intervention because, first of all, it is God who created this world and the solutions that we can seek can only come from God,” he added.

Pastor Yé expressed satisfaction with the visit of the government delegation which promotes social cohesion and living together in Burkina.

This government
team was composed of the ministers in charge of Communication, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel, of Territorial Administration, Emile Zerbo, of Humanitarian Action, Nandy Somé/Diallo and of Sport, Roland Somda.
