Ouagadougou: Burkina Faso has been invited to the Engineering, Transformation and Learning Exhibition (SITA) scheduled for Bamako, from July 3 to 6, 2024, the AIB learned this Friday from official sources.

Burkina Faso’s invitation to this fair, chaired by the Malian Head of State, Colonel Assimi Goïta, was revealed in Geneva by the Malian Minister of Entrepreneurship, Employment and Vocational Training , Aminata Bagayogo Traoré, to the Burkinabè Minister in charge of Labor, Bassolma Bazié, on the sidelines of the 112th conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO).

SITA, which is being held for its 3rd edition, will focus on construction, production and agro-food processing but also on the hotel industry, catering, utility crafts, digital technology and even digital transformation. explained the organizers on June 4 in Bamako.

Technical and vocational training centers, public services in charge of vocational training, technical and vocational education and employment, umbrella structures of the productive sector, associations and umbrella structures of the private sector, etc. are expected at this institutionalized professional event from 2014.

The first edition of SITA was held in 2029 around the steel industry and the 2nd edition, in 2010, on the professionalization of arts and culture professions.
