Burkina: Deputy commanders for six BIRs


Ouagadougou: President Ibrahim Traoré on Friday appointed deputy commanders for six Rapid Intervention Battalions (BIR)

They are Lieutenant Abel Haro for the first BIR, Lieutenant Ibrahim Ky for the second BIR and Lieutenant Wendpagnandé Aristide Lofo for the 3rd BIR.

The deputy commanders of the 4th, 5th and 6th BIR are respectively Captain Fatao Yamba, Lieutenant Wempoéré Ignace Pima and Captain Hamidou Traoré.

Furthermore, President Ibrahim Traoré chose Lieutenant Médard Kaboré as deputy commander of the Training and Development Center for Special and Rapid Intervention Units.
