Burkinabe essayist Abdoul Moumouni Ouédraogo signed his book on Saturday, entitled ‘Captain Ibrahim Traoré: Hope Regained or the Rebirth of a Disoriented People,’ a 117-page work that describes the vision of the President of Faso for Burkina and Africa.

“Captain Ibrahim Traoré: Hope Regained or the Rebirth of a Disoriented People” is a 117-page biographical and descriptive essay written by Abdoul Moumouni Ouédraogo to pay tribute to President Traoré and present his vision for Burkina.

“It is a book that highlights the actors truly committed to the liberation and total sovereignty of Burkina Faso, with an honorable mention to the visionary leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré,” said essayist Abdoul Moumouni Ouédraogo.

On page 69, President Ibrahim Traoré ‘is described as a devoted patriot who sacrificed everything to lead Burkina Faso to a better future. His patriotism and commitment are focused on the reconquest and restoration of his country, plunged into the darkness of obscurantism for almost a decade. His ma
in objective is to free the country from the forces of evil that threatened the hope and lives of its citizens…’

According to the author, the document also traces Burkina’s recent past, the upheavals experienced and the lethargy that marked certain predecessors, before returning to an unexpected hope that today seems to unite minds.

For him, the work is first and foremost a eulogy in honor of all the social classes committed to a new Burkina Faso, with the current authorities of the country at the forefront.

“It highlights the dream of a nation which, long buried, is resurfacing and whose realization seems certain thanks to the clairvoyance of the new authorities,” he added.

Ultimately, “Captain Ibrahim Traoré: Hope Regained or the Rebirth of a Disoriented People” is a mirror in which everyone can look at themselves and project themselves according to their commitment to their country,” the author recommended.

The book is available at the Mercury bookstore and at the Thomas Sankara Memorial for 6,000 FCF
A.

According to the writer, the document will also be available in English and Mooré before the end of 2024.
