Ouagadougou: The GoPaga Association, with the help of its partners, inaugurated on Friday a training and leisure center for war wounded of the national police, noted the AIB.

‘The training and leisure center for the wounded and the national police is a center which will support the police in better supporting the war wounded,’ declared the president of the GoPaga association, Fadima Kambou, Friday during the award ceremony. center.

This center, built at a cost of 26 million FCFA at the CRS camp in Ouagadougou, is made up of a computer and training room, a maintenance and support room, a library, a rest, a kitchen, a games area and a pharmacy.

It was financed by Coris Bank with the participation of Canal+, and the women’s association of the Ministry of Finance.

For the representative of the CEO of Coris Bank, Emmanuel Sawadogo, the center is not only limited to physical rehabilitation, it also aims to nourish the mind and soul.

According to him, cultural, artistic and sporting activities will be offered t
o allow the injured to find joy and passion in their daily lives.

‘This training center embodies our gratitude to these fighters who suffered injuries while carrying out their missions, reminding us that their dedication and courage are not in vain and have not gone unnoticed,’ added Mr. Savadogo

He also wished the beneficiaries of this center a beneficial path to healing.

For the Director General of the National Police, Roger Ouédraogo, this treatment center will greatly relieve the injured and allow them to rehabilitate.

He also thanked the Gopaga association and all its partners for the realization of this joy and ensures that his department is committed to ensuring that this center achieves its objectives.

Remember that this center is the fourth of the Gopaga association which plans to receive its fifth center on January 31, 2024 in Kaya.
