Ouagadougou: Nestorine Sangaré, university teacher and former minister in the government of Luc Adophe Tiao, welcomed in her own way the defeat in the European elections of the regime of French President Emmanuel Macron, who immediately announced the dissolution of the National Assembly.

‘Defeat is always bitter. Especially for crying Jupiter. It’s like a descent into hell. And he is the one who likes to declare wars. We don’t make others unhappy for nothing. Everywhere, this braggart will tell the time,’ wrote Nestorine Sangaré/Compaoré on his Facebook page.

Ms. Sangaré is a Gender expert and also known for her commitment against French predatory and destabilizing policy in Burkina. She also fights for the railway managed by the French businessman, Vincent Bolloré, with the support of the French authorities.

In her writings, she denounced the agreement which allowed the discreet installation of a French military detachment north of Ouagadougou and already proposed to the authorities to call into question
the old colonial agreements with France.

‘In addition to serving as a foothold and hiding place for the French military, Burkina Faso cannot benefit significantly from this agreement. After 60 years of existence, the old agreement of 1961 must also be evaluated taking into account the situation and security challenges facing Burkina Faso,’ she wrote on her page.

Nestorine Sangaré taught at Joseph Ki-Zerbo University between 2002 and 2017 and has directed the Gender Research and Intervention Center (CRIGED) for several years.

The European elections were won in France by the National Rally, a party of the opposition led by a woman and which the French media describes as a far-right party.

This victory, which means a defeat for the Macron camp, pushed the president to dissolve the National Assembly and called for new legislative consultations from June 30.
