Burkina: a citizen offers 10 tons of food for displaced people

Ouagadougou, Citizen Abdoulaye Savadogo handed over to the Prime Minister on Monday 10 tons of food worth five million FCFA, for the benefit of internally displaced people.

“We just had five tons of rice and five tons of corn which I have just given to the Prime Minister so that they can be sent to the most needy. If we had more resources, we were going to give more than that,” said Abdoulaye Savadogo, in the national Moore language.

The generous donor from Karpala (Ouagadougou) spoke on Monday, after leaving an audience with Prime Minister Apollinaire Kyelem of Tambèla.

For him, it is necessary to think of those who are hungry when we eat.

Abdoulaye Savadogo implored Allah the Almighty to assist the authorities so that the country can regain peace.
