Ouagadougou: In the Boucle du Mouhoun, a group of mobile intervention units (GUMI) from the Police and the VDP, neutralized several terrorists during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday and recovered a large batch of materials.
On the night of Tuesday August 6 to Wednesday August 7, 2024 a mixed GUMI-VDP team ambushed terrorists in the Boucle du Mouhoun.
According to security sources contacted by the AIB, several criminals were killed and equipment seized.
We note in particular five motorcycles as well as weapons.
Added to this are military clothing, pharmaceutical products, food, cell phones, shoes and tarpaulins to protect against rain and other bad weather.
The boys also recovered detonator rolls, PKMS tapes, credit cards, sleeping gear and mechanical equipment.
