BEPC 2024: 1,298 candidates composed in Sourou

1,298 candidates including 505 boys and 793 girls went yesterday Tuesday to take on the Brevet d’études du premier cycle (BEPC) for the 2024 session, in the province of Sourou, Boucle du region. Mouhoun.

For this 2024 session of the Brevet d’études du premier cycle (BEPC) exam, 1,298 candidates including 505 boys and 793 girls are registered on behalf of the province of Sourou (Boucle du Mouhoun) and are distributed among 5 juries.

It was jury 4 based at the General Education College (CEG) of Tougan which welcomed the provincial authorities yesterday, Tuesday, for the official launch of the BEPC for the 2024 session.

The prefect and president of the special municipal delegation of Tougan, opening the first envelope containing the dictation test, invited the candidates to remain calm and to highlight what they learned during the school year.

The provincial director of post-primary and secondary education in Sourou, Pascal Padra Bancé, said he was satisfied to have been able to launch these exams, given th
e difficulties of starting the 2023-2024 school year, due to the security situation which prevails in the country, in general and in particular that of the province.

‘It was not a bet won in advance but against all odds, with the resilience and patriotism of everyone, with the assistance of God and the presence of the spirits of our ancestors the challenge was met today ‘today,’ he argued.

Mr. Bancé also congratulated all the actors who were involved in the smooth running of this session of the BEPC review.

He thanked all the partners for their support which was of capital importance in the success of the school year in the Sourou province.

According to the president of jury 4, Clément Sawadogo, some difficulties were encountered in the practical organization, in particular those linked to photocopying problems.

Mr. Sawadogo reassured that maintainers are already hard at work to resolve all the difficulties.

After the kick-off, the delegation composed of the high commissioner, Désiré Badolo, the preside
nt of the special municipal delegation of Tougan, Wiougou Tiendrébeogo, the provincial director of post-primary and secondary education of Sourou, Pascal Padra Bancé visited the other juries in the city.
