Ouagadougou: The population of Solenzo once again donated food to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) of the municipality of Solenzo, this Tuesday, July 16.
This donation worth 1,482,500 FCFA is made up of 6 bags of 100 kg of beans, 25 bags of rice of 50 kg, 10 cans of 20 liters of oil, 25 boxes of spaghetti and the sum of 60,000 FCFA to pay for condiments.
The delegation presented this donation to Sabane Guira, representing the PDS of Solenzo for the VDP.
As a reminder, On July 9, 2024, the population offered raincoats and walkie-talkie devices to the VDPs of Solenzo to enable them to effectively fight against terrorists in the municipality of Solenzo and in the province in general.
On May 29, 2024, the VDP benefited from 30 motorcycles, ammunition and walkie-talkie devices offered by the population.
In February 2024, food worth nearly 500,000 FCFA was given to the VDP.
