Kongoussi, The High Commissioner of the Bam province, Adama Jean Yves Béré, urged the Burkinabè to revisit national values to transcend their differences and achieve a harmonious society, enamored by the quest for development.

A few days after the start of the school year, the High Commissioner of the Bam province, Jean Yves Béré and his closest collaborators made an outing to some schools in the town of Kongoussi on Monday, October 9, 2023.

They first witnessed the rise of colors at the Wenssongda school complex in Kongoussi.

“Respect and defense of the flag and other symbols of the State have always allowed the Burkinabe people to transcend their differences in order to build a harmonious society marked by the quest for development for all,” indicated the first State Clerk in Province.

Still addressing education stakeholders, Adama Jean Yves Béré, added the observation of the difficult security situation and the resurgence of conflicts between communities, require that the Burkinabè revisit these values.

After the Wenssongda school complex, the High Commissioner and his delegation headed to the Early Learning and Preschool Education Center in sector 1 of Kongoussi where he conveyed the same message.

The third stop on the tour was the Sainte Bernadette private college in Kongoussi, a private confessional establishment with a boarding regime which only welcomes young girls.

There, High Commissioner Jean Yves Béré made a presentation on the administrative division of Burkina Faso with emphasis on administrative districts.

He completed his tour at the Kongoussi provincial high school where he spoke with the staff of the establishment.

For the principal of the Kongoussi provincial high school, Francis Kaboré, this visit from the administrative authorities of Bam is a very strong signal and comes to comfort the teachers and students who are working to meet the challenges of quality education, despite the situation. security difficulty.

As a reminder, the High Commissioner had at his side, the prefects and Presidents of the special delegations from the different communes of Bam, all dressed in official outfits.
