Bam: 1036 baccalaureate candidates including 561 girls

The prefect President of the special delegation (PDS) of Kongoussi Abel Dayamba officially launched the baccalaureate examination session of 2024 at the Amitié private high school of Kongoussi on June 18 with a predominance of female candidates.

The PDS prefect Abel Dayamba represented the high commissioner of the province of Bam at the opening of the first envelope of the Bac exam.

This year, Bam registered 1036 candidates, made up of 561 girls and 475 boys.

Among these candidates, 471 compose for the A4 series compared to 565 for the D series.

the provincial director of Post-primary and secondary Education of Bam Hamadé Tinto indicated that the session is taking place normally ‘without any upheaval’.

As a reminder, all the candidates sit on 4 juries, housed respectively at the Kongoussi municipal high school, at the Amitié private high school in Kongoussi, at the provincial high school in Kongoussi and at the departmental high school in Sabcé.
