The secretary general of the Balé province, Aissata Kouanda, officially launched on Tuesday March 26, 2024 in Boromo the national day of patriotic commitment and citizen participation in the Balé province.

Like the national community, the first edition of the national day of patriotic commitment and citizen participation was launched in the province of Balé at the town hall of Boromo on the morning of Tuesday March 26.

The ceremony mobilized administrative authorities, defense and security forces, and populations around the rise of national colors in a patriotic effervescence. In the spirit of the day, many participants were dressed in traditional outfits.

The secretary general of the province, Aissata Kouanda, after delivering the message from the Head of State, congratulated the constituent bodies and the populations for their mobilization. The general secretary instructed directors and department heads, community representatives and association leaders to relay the message within their respective struct
ures.

In the opinion of the authority, the national day of patriotic commitment and citizen participation is a period of ‘rebuilding the foundations of our nation’.

It is in view of these issues that Ms. Kouanda called on all citizens of the province for greater patriotic commitment and citizen participation to meet development challenges with the government. Also, she called for promoting the values of civics, tolerance, courage, respect and solidarity.

For the president of the special Boromo delegation, Esaïe Bamogo, it is individual contributions that create collective development.

Thus, to mark the spirit of the day, awareness-raising activities with theater troupes, consumption of local dishes and products, and healthiness are planned
