Balé: 2134 candidates seeking the Baccalaureate diploma

The prefect president of the special delegation of Boromo, Esaie Bamogo, opened the first envelope of the written tests of the Baccalaureate session 2024 to jury 7 and 8 at the provincial high school of Boromo, in the company of several administrative authorities and actors in the education system.

The written tests for the first round of the Baccalaureate session 2024 began in the Balé province, on the morning of June 18, 2024.

According to the provincial director of post-primary and secondary education, Dr Lombo Gnoumou, for this session 2,134 candidates are registered.

They are made up of 1138 boys and 996 girls, divided into 9 juries. The municipality of Boromo is home to 5 juries, Bagassi 2 juries and Fara 2 juries as well. This year the number of candidates is down slightly in the province.

Mr. Gnoumou also said that the exam is taking place in good conditions.

According to him, everything is done for a successful session.

Also, he invited all stakeholders to work with complete peace of mind, take
the tasks entrusted to them seriously and ensure respect for the confidentiality of the examinations.

The local administrative authorities provided their support and encouragement to the actors involved in the organization and to the candidates for jury 7 and 8 housed at the Boromo provincial high school.

The delegation was led by the prefect president of the special delegation of Boromo, Esaie Bamogo.

The prefect invited the candidates to have serenity and self-confidence. He also urged them to rely only on themselves.

The authorities hope that the results will be good for this 2024 session.

After this short moment of relaxation for the candidates, the prefect opened the first envelope for the written test.
